Kangoo Pouches

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 05/08/2026

Kangoo Pouches (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website, place an order, contact us, or create an account.

Who we are

Kangoo Pouches is a UK online store offering nicotine pouches, caffeine pouches, and related products.

If you have any privacy questions, please contact us at: [email protected]

What information we collect

We may collect and process the following information:

  • Your name
  • Billing and delivery address
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Order details and purchase history
  • Account login details
  • Messages you send to us through contact forms or email
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and site usage data
  • Age-verification references, status, over-18 result, and relevant timestamps

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process and deliver your orders
  • Manage your account
  • Respond to enquiries and customer support requests
  • Send service emails such as order confirmations and delivery updates
  • Help prevent fraud and misuse of our website
  • Improve our website, products, and customer experience
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Age verification and VerifyMyAge

Orders containing nicotine products require an age check. After Worldpay authorises the card, and before we request payment settlement or fulfil the order, we create a secure check with VerifyMyAge (VMA).

To create the check, we send VMA the customer's name, email address, phone number where provided, billing or delivery address, postcode, country, order reference, and details of the age-restricted products ordered. VMA may ask the customer directly for further information or evidence, such as date of birth, an identity document, or a facial image or selfie, depending on the verification method offered.

Identity evidence requested during the secure check is provided directly to VMA. Our custom integration is designed to receive and retain the verification reference, status, over-18 result, and relevant timestamps rather than copies of identity documents or facial images.

We use this information to prevent sales to under-18s, decide whether an order can be accepted and fulfilled, prevent fraud, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. We rely on legal obligation and our legitimate interests in responsible age-restricted retailing; processing needed to progress an eligible order may also be necessary for steps connected with the customer's contract.

If VMA does not approve the check, or the check is cancelled or expires, the order will not be fulfilled. We will request cancellation of the Worldpay authorisation or, if funds were already collected, request a refund. A customer's bank may take additional time to release an authorisation or display a refund.

Marketing

If you choose to sign up for marketing, we may send you updates about products, offers, or news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

Our lawful bases for processing

We process personal data where necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests, or where you have given consent, depending on the type of data and purpose involved.

Who we share your information with

We only share your information where necessary to run our business and fulfil your order. This may include:

  • Worldpay and other payment providers
  • VerifyMyAge, our age-verification provider, for orders containing nicotine products
  • Delivery and logistics providers such as Royal Mail
  • Website, hosting, analytics, and technical service providers
  • Professional advisers where needed
  • Authorities or regulators where required by law

How long we keep your information

We keep order and age-verification result records only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, regulatory, and customer-service requirements. VerifyMyAge controls the retention of evidence submitted directly through its secure service in accordance with its own privacy information and our agreement with it. You can contact us for further information about the records we hold.

Your rights

Depending on your circumstances, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request transfer of your data where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Cookies, analytics, and consent records

We use essential cookies to keep the website, account, basket, checkout, payment, security, and age-verification functions working. We ask before optional analytics or marketing cookies are enabled. With the relevant opt-in, Google provides analytics and advertising-measurement services and Microsoft Clarity provides analytics and session-insight services. Optional tracking is suppressed on the checkout payment step.

Your choice is stored for 180 days and can be changed or withdrawn at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer. To demonstrate consent, we retain a pseudonymous audit record for up to 400 days. It contains a cryptographically hashed random identifier, timestamp, granular choices, submission method, notice version, and integrity proof; it does not contain a raw IP address, user agent, or payment details. Please also see our Cookie Policy.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

Children

Our store is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly accept or fulfil nicotine-product orders for children. Where an attempted order is not approved, we may retain a limited verification result and transaction record where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated revision date.
