This Cookie Policy explains how Kangoo Pouches uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site.
How we use cookies
We may use cookies to:
- Keep the website functioning correctly
- Remember your preferences
- Support account login, shopping basket and checkout features
- Record the source of an order during the current browsing session
- Measure website performance and usage where you consent
- Improve website functionality and customer experience
- Support marketing tools where you consent
Types of cookies we may use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are used for core website functions such as page navigation, account access, basket and checkout functionality, security, and session-only order-source measurement.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, these help us understand how visitors use our site, which pages are visited, and how we can improve performance.
Functionality cookies
These remember choices you make, such as preferences or settings.
Marketing cookies
With your consent, these may be used by advertising or third-party services to measure campaigns or personalise marketing.
Session-only order-source measurement
WooCommerce uses first-party sbjs_* cookies to remember how the current shopping session reached our website. This can include the referring website, campaign parameters in the landing URL, the landing page, session start time, page count, and browser or device information. These cookies are used so the source can be attached to an order if checkout is completed; they are not used by us to build a cross-session advertising profile.
sbjs_session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. sbjs_current, sbjs_current_add, sbjs_first, sbjs_first_add, sbjs_udata, and sbjs_migrations expire with the browsing session. If no order is placed, this temporary source information is not saved to a WooCommerce order.
Your consent choices
We ask before using non-essential cookies. Analytics and marketing controls are off until you choose to allow them and can be allowed separately. Your choice is remembered for 180 days unless you change it sooner. We will ask again earlier if our purposes, providers, or consent wording materially change.
Managing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie settings link in the website footer to change or withdraw your optional-cookie choice at any time. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future optional processing, and the consent tool removes the non-essential first-party tracking cookies it can access. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may affect account, basket, checkout, or order-source features.
Consent records
To demonstrate and manage consent, we keep a pseudonymous audit record containing a cryptographically hashed random consent identifier, the date and time, the analytics and marketing choices, how the choice was submitted, the consent-notice version, and an integrity proof. This record does not contain a raw IP address, user agent, or payment details. Audit records are automatically deleted after 400 days.
Third-party services
With the relevant opt-in, Google provides analytics and advertising-measurement services and Microsoft Clarity provides analytics and session-insight services. Essential payment, checkout, fraud-prevention, security, age-verification, and first-party order-source technologies may operate where necessary to provide the service. Optional tracking is suppressed on the checkout payment step. See the linked Privacy Policy and the providers’ own privacy information for further details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
